FBI

The FBI did get involved in this investigation. They created a killer profile, but sadly where unable to determine who had murdered Karina. The crime was done in 1996 and they knew little about forensics at the time. There were also no phone records or footage and security cameras that could have been used. The other thing is that there was no social media, they could not look through others pictures of the night in an attempt to find her. They had to rely on eyewitness accounts and majority of those there were intoxicated and paid little to no attention.
